Thank you for your interest in joining the Barnes Swimming Club.

 

Senior or Master Swimmers: Please contact us at join.bsc@gmail.com and you will be invited for a taster session at a mutually convenient time.

 

Swimmers who are 10 years of age or older and have achieved qualifying times for the London Region Championships or were finalists (finished in the top 8 in at least one event) at their relevant County Championships, should email us at join.bsc@gmail.com. Please include your name, age and date of birth, name of the school you are attending, current swimming club, PBs and major achievements in your correspondence. You will be invited for an individual assessment during a Performance squad training session.

 

 

Swimmers under the age of 16, who do not hold Regional qualifying times or have not finished in the top 8 at their relevant County Championships:

- your name

- age and date of birth

- name of current school

- name of current club or learn to swim course

- how often or how many hours per week you swim

- current level of swimming.

 

Your name will be placed on the waiting list and you will be contacted with an invitation for the trials.

 

Fee guidance For Prospective Members

 

The BSC squad structure for junior members comprises Development squads (D1, D2, D3, D4) and Performance squads (P2, P1) and the Competitive Development Team (CDT).

 

The monthly fee for D4 will be £32

The monthly fee for D3 will be £40

The monthly fee for D2 will be £49

The monthly fee for D1 will be £55

The monthly fee for P2 will be £61

The monthly fee for P1 will be £66

The monthly fee for CDT will be £55

 

The BSC squad structure for senior members comprises the Pre-masters squad (PMA) and Seniors and Masters squad (SAM).

 

The monthly fee for PMA will be £32

The monthly fee for SAM will be £66

The monthly fee for people of age 65 years and older swimming with the Masters squad will be £41

The monthly fee for full time students in higher education will be £41

 

Additionally, there is a “Masters 2” rate which is at the reduced rate of £40 per month, and permits the swimmer to swim a maximum of 2 times per week.

 

The discount for three or more members per family will be £10 for the third and each additional member

A 25% discount is applicable for swimmers who are also pupils at CC, SPGS or SPS.

 

Joining Fee

There is a joining fee of £30

You will need to collect a Membership form from the Membership Secretary and also an ASA Registration form from your coach.
