Torremolinos (Spain) Swim Camp - Autumn 2018 Half Term

Destination: The venue for our 5th club training camp is Torremolinos located 7km from Malaga in the Costa del Sol and offers excellent training facilities.
Dates: Sun 21/10/18 to Sun 28/10/18
Accommodation: The 4* Marconfort Griego Hotel is located near to the centre of Torremolinos where there are many shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel, which is the closest hotel to the training facilities (just 15 minute walk), has undergone a huge refurbishment program to turn it into a 4* hotel (from a 3*)
All 414 rooms have a private balcony, air-conditioning, satellite television, telephone, free WIFI and safety deposit box. The hotel also has a games room, cafeteria, snack bar, and a piano bar. There is an outdoor swimming pool and fitness facilities.
Accommodation is arranged in Triple rooms. Single and double rooms may be available subject to supplements (£50 supplement per person for double room and £150 per person for single room). Full board including mineral water

Price: £650 inc. flight exc. Insurance. Payment to competition account clearly referenced with the child’s name and camp.
No places: 30 total
NB As this is a swim camp swimmers must be prepared to swim intensively for 4 hours per day. P1 and P2 will be given priority. If there are spaces remaining SPD and D1 swimmers will be considered.
All swimmers need to be 11 by the Dec 2018 unless accompanied by an adult.

Outbound —>BA London Gatwick to Malaga 9.25-13.20
Inbound —> BA Malaga to City Airport London 17.50-19.45
Including a 23kg luggage and carry-on
Sports arrangements:
50m heated outdoor Olympic pool 5 lanes 15 mins from hotel
The outdoor Piscina Olímpica Virgen del Carmen forms part of a larger sporting complex where there is an athletics track, football pitches, indoor arena, tennis courts and a gym.
The pools are heated to 27-29 degrees with 8 lanes, anti wave lane ropes, backstroke flags, pace clocks and starting blocks.
13 sessions in total - 6 days x 2 sessions x 2 hours 7-9am and 2-4pm plus one travel day
Other inclusions: Local English speaking representative
Insurance: All swimmers will need insurance which is anticipated to be between £12 -15. Further details to follow
