October 2018 Half Term Camp : Torremolinos (near Malaga) Spain

Dear Swimmers and Parents,
We are pleased to confirm that Torremolinos has been selectedas the destination for the October 2018 Half Term Swimming Camp.
We have considered several options and this was the most attractive package overall in terms of cost, facilities and location.
"Vila Esportiva" of Lloret de Mar has a new 50m Olympic Pool which opened in January 2014. The 4* is within the same resort and within walking distance from the pool.
The full price of the camp is £709 per person (payable in full or in two instalments) and includes:
- Return flights from London Gatwick to Barcelona with British Airways.
Outbound: Saturday 22nd October, departs at 06:45 hrs arrives in Barcelona at 09:50 hrs
Return: Saturday 29th October, departs at 19:20 hrs arrives in London Gatwick at 20:35hrs
Price includes 1 x checked 23kg baggage per person
- Accommodation in triple rooms, 7 nights in the 4* Olympic Park Hotel
upgrade to double room: £10 per person per night
upgrade to single room: £30 per person per night
- Full board meal plan
- Daily 2x2 hours swim training in the new 50m Olympic pool, 1x2 hours on the days of arrival and departure
Who is it for?
The camp is aimed at swimmers at County, Regional or National level swimmers in P2, P1 and SPD who will be able to cope with swimming 4 hours per day
Swimmers attending this residential camp must be aged 11 or older by 31st December 2016.
Target squads:
- Performance 1 (P1)
- Performance 2 (P2)
- Senior Performance Development (SPD)
- Junior Performance Development (JPD)
Swimmers who are currently not in the above squads, but are hoping to achieve the required standard by October, must obtain approval from the Head Coach, Roxana. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a trial, please email April Owens ([email protected]).
Deadline and Payment Options
We have the flights, hotel and pool booked and on hold until Monday 6th June. It is therefore paramount that we receive either your full payment or the first instalment before Friday 3rd June. If your flight is not secured by the deadline, the reserved tickets will be released. Although it might be possible to re-book the tickets, they will likely to be sold at a higher price which will increase the final cost of the package.

Payment options:
(1) Pay price in full - £709 due by Friday 3rd June
(2) Pay in two instalments:
(a) 1st instalment: £350 - non-refundable and due by Friday 3rd June
(a) 2nd instalment (£359) is due by Friday 5th August
Please note, any optional extras (room upgrade, insurance), if selected, will be charged closer to the actual date of the camp.
Subsidy
We understand that having to pay the full price might make it difficult for some swimmers to attend the camp. We will consider providing subsidy up to £160 for those who genuinely need it. If you would like to apply, please email [email protected] explaining briefly the reason for your request and the level of discount you are applying for. Your request will be treated confidentially.
